How to Verify a Mantle Bridge Deposit Network
Verify a Mantle deposit by matching its source transaction, destination address and network in the explorers; a token ticker alone does not confirm the transfer.

A Mantle bridge deposit is verified by matching its Ethereum transaction with the resulting Mantle balance at the intended address. The source transaction shows whether the deposit was sent; the destination chain shows whether the funds arrived.
Which networks should a Mantle deposit use?
A standard deposit moves assets from Ethereum to Mantle, so check both sides of that route. In your wallet, Mantle mainnet uses chain ID 5000; a network name or token ticker by itself does not prove which chain is selected.
The mantle bridge guide explains the transfer steps and costs in more detail. Before signing, check the bridge’s source and destination selectors, the receiving address, and the asset you chose.
How do you check whether the deposit arrived?
Start with the transaction hash from the wallet that sent the deposit. Open it in an Ethereum block explorer and confirm that the transaction succeeded, the sender is yours, and the intended amount went to the bridge; an ERC-20 approval is not the deposit itself.
Then search the receiving address in Mantle’s official explorer. Check for the corresponding token balance or transaction, and confirm the address and asset. The two chains keep separate records, so a successful Ethereum transaction alone does not establish that the Mantle-side credit has appeared.
What details should you match across the records?
Compare the fields that identify the transfer, rather than relying on a familiar symbol. A bridge moves an asset between networks, where its token representation may have a different contract address.
- Address: the destination address should match the one selected for the deposit.
- Asset: confirm the token and amount against the bridge screen and transaction record.
- Network: check Ethereum for the source transaction and Mantle mainnet for the destination balance.
- Status: distinguish a confirmed source transaction from a completed destination credit.
What if the Mantle balance is missing?
A confirmed source transaction can precede the destination credit while the bridge message is processed. Check the bridge status and Mantle explorer again; use the transaction hash to track the same transfer, rather than resending funds based only on a pending display.
For a deposit to an exchange, also verify that the exchange accepts the asset on Mantle and that you used its specified deposit address. The next check is the destination record; whether an exchange credits the account, or how long that takes, depends on its own deposit process.
